Lehigh Carbon Community College

To the campus community,

Lehigh Carbon Community College continues to monitor the local impact of COVID-19, based on guidance from the CDC, and will respond accordingly. Masks are not currently required on campus, but please respect the comfort level of all members of the campus community.

Additional masks are available in Public Safety and Human Resources on the main campus, and at the front desk at the sites.

Individuals who are exposed are recommended to wear a mask for 10 days and get tested on day 6 after exposure. Quarantine for individuals who are exposed is no longer recommended. Details are in the college’s Health and Safety Plan. Students conducting clinicals and internships must comply with the requirements of those external facilities.

For information about vaccines and where they are available, go to the Vaccine Finder at vaccines.gov.

If circumstances and guidance from the CDC changes, we will reinstate the mask mandate. At this time, however, masking will be optional and won’t be required in campus buildings, which includes the main campus in Schnecksville, the sites in Allentown and Tamaqua, and the Airport.
